Ally's ESSENTIALS
The Story Behind Ally’s Essentials, Born From Experience. Created With Purpose. My love for hair began long before Ally’s Essentials.
I started doing hair in my community around the age of 12 or 13, and what began as something I simply enjoyed eventually grew into a passion and a career. In my 20s, I took that passion into a salon and began working professionally as a natural hair stylist.
But my relationship with hair eventually became personal in a completely different way, As I experienced hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, I began experiencing hair loss and thinning. Over time, my hair continued to become thinner, eventually leading up to my experience with Graves’ disease. Watching changes happen to my own hair gave me a deeper understanding of how emotional and personal our relationship with our hair can be.
